The Ingredients: General Information and Actions:
- Vitamin D is a fat-soluble nutrient, naturally present in very few foods and produced endogenously when sunlight strikes the skin.
- Vitamin D can modulate the immune system. Vitamin D promotes calcium absorption in the gut and maintains the adequate calcium and phosphate concentrations in the blood to enable normal mineralization of bones and teeth.
- Vitamin C helps support the function of your immune system. It is one of the many anti-oxidants blocking some of the damages caused by free radicals.
- Together with other anti-oxidants (including Zinc, Vitamin A, Vitamin E), Vitamin C works to protect the eyes against developing macular degeneration, a leading cause for blindness in people over 55 years of age.
- Olive Leaf Extract is a powerful anti-oxidant that reduces cardiovascular risk, such as atherosclerosis, reduces inflammation, fights herpes and boosts immunity.
- Zinc is a trace element that reduces oxidative stress. Zinc plays a structural role by stabilizing proteins and helps to keep the immune system strong.
