Cautions and Warnings 

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a liver disorder. Do not use if you have Phenylketonuria (PKU). Do not use if you are taking Levodopa, a medication used to treat Parkinson's disease. Do not use if you have tardive dyskinesia. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking antidepressant drugs such as MAOIs or SSRIs or other anti-psychotic medications. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are following a low protein diet. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a health care practitioner if you have a family history of stroke, high blood pressure or heart disease. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have any thyroid disorder. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a kidney disorder and/or diabetes. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking medications for diabetes, high blood pressure or seizures.

Contra-Indications 

Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not exceed the recommended dose except on the advice of a physician. Do not use if you are taking health products that affect blood coagulation (e.g. blood thinners, clotting factor replacements, acetylsalicylic acid, ibuprofen, fish oils, vitamin E) as this may increase the risk of spontaneous bleeding. If you have bipolar disorder or bipolar spectrum disorder, do not use this product.

Known Adverse Reactions 

Some people may experience diarrhoea. People sensitive to nicotinic acid may experience flushing of the skin that is generally mild and transient. If you experience irritability or insomnia, discontinue use.
